The Programme

Exeter City had been producing match-day programmes since their days in the Southern League.

For their first ever match in the English Football League, the programme followed the famliliar style of a single tri-foil folded sheet, and cost the grand sum of 2d.

The main purpose of the programme was to speculate the line-ups, and in the case of the Brentford edition, the team in print was the exact eleven who lined up to begin our club's Football League adventure.

The ECFC Museum and Grecian Archive are grateful to Tony Badcott for loaning this extremely rare item to us for digitisation and inclusion in this exhibit (see short film below).
