Jacca Cavendish, a central defender from Bodmin, signed for Exeter City as a scholar/trainee after finishing year 11 in 2023. He had been with the club’s academy since the under-11 category.
Also an age-group cricketer for Cornwall, he was an under-16 academy player in 2022/23 who was already playing for the under-18s in the EFL Youth Alliance as well as being named on the bench for FA Youth Cup matches during the same season. However, after his signing as a scholar/trainee was announced in August 2023, Jacca did not appear for the under-18s during the subsequent season.
