Biographical Text

An amateur with Exeter City, Muncey made his debut in a Plymouth and District League fixture in a 4-3 win at Devon and Cornwall Light Infantry in October 1906.

Albert captained Dawlish from Sep 1907. From "Rover's" notes (12/10/1907): 'Muncey, I believe, holds a record as far as East Devon is concerned, for he has been picked in its representative teams on thirteen occasions. He has also represented Devon County four times, and apart from Soccer, has been invaluable to Dawlish at cricket and hockey. A good all-round athlete is Muncey - as good an all-round man as you will find in the county.'
