Exeter Ladies beat finished a their Women's Western League season with a bang, beating Barry 14-0 at Wyvern Barracks. Leading scorer Annie Hesketh brought her total for the season to a remarkable 51 goals with seven more yesterday in a match that was little more than a training workout for Exeter. It gave them an ideal chance to get into their attacking stride in time for next Sunday's last match of the season, the League Cup final against Frome. Barry rarely broke out of their own half and Exeter goalkeeper Brenda Frayne was only kept in the game by the occasional back pass from her defenders. Free-scoring Exeter struggled to find the net in the first half going in just 3-0 up but they turned on the heat after the break. The other goals came from Bridget Thomas (4), Shelley Trace, Jackie Tancock only the second of her foot- ball career, and Trina Lake
