E Drew played for Exeter City in the Plymouth and District League before the club turned professional in 1908.

Having played for Exeter Argyle, he made a goalscoring debut against Plympton on 8   November 1907 and went on to make eight appearances that season mainly during the mid-winter period.

Remaining the club’s books as an amateur when City entered the professional era, he was still playing for the reserves in 1910/11 and appeared in various public practice games.
