Steve Flack's goal claimed a point for Exeter - who had keeper James Bittner sent off for a professional foul.

Robert Purdie had put Hereford ahead eight minutes after half-time with a fine curling shot.

Flack had missed an open goal from two yards out, but made amends when he bundled Reinier Moore's cross in - and then had another effort disallowed.

Bittner then saw red after a lunge at Paul Parry just outside the box.
