Biographical Text
Kye Cooper, a left-sided full-back/wing-back from Yeovil, signed for Exeter City as a scholar/trainee after finishing school in 2023. He had been with the club’s academy since the under-14 category following the closure of Yeovil Town’s programme.
An under-16 player at the time, he had started to appear for the under-18s in the Youth Alliance in the early months of 2023 together with fellow future trainne George Birch who had also been at Yeovil. Commencing his scholarship in July 2023, Kye was an unused substitute for the club's FA Youth Cup tie against Hemel Hempstead Town in November 2023.
