Biographical Text

Kyle Egan came through Exeter City's academy and became a scholar/trainee in 2014 as he went on to be named East Devon Grecians' young player of the season for 2015/16 and captain City’s FA Youth Cup team. After two games for the first-team he later appeared for Dorchester, Tiverton and Truro.

Kyle’s two first-team appearances came in August 2016: firstly as a substitute in the league against Hartlepool United; then as a starter a fortnight later in the EFL Trophy against Oxford United.

Whilst with City, Kyle had loan periods at Bideford and Dorchester before, after two years as a professional, being released in 2018 to join Dorchester where he made over a hundred appearances prior to moving to Tiverton in February 2020 ahead of the first COVID-19 lockdown.

Kyle left Tiverton in June 2022 and signed for Truro City where he won promotion to National League South. Living near Bristol, Kyle subsequently left the Cornish club to join Western League Portishead Town who he helped to promotion in 2023/24.
