Biographical Text
Hart was playing in Australia for the Corinthians club who were managed by Frank Broome.
When Broome became manager of Exeter City for a second time in May 1967, Hart was invited to Exeter for a trial, which was successful and he signed a contract for the Grecians.
He had previously played for Long Eaton United and the Nottingham Forest Under 19 team before going out to Australia in 1964.
He made his Football League debut in the second game of the season, a 1-4 home defeat at the hands of Crewe Alexandra in August 1967.
He unfortunately suffered a broken leg in the game against Aldershot four months later, and although he did return to first team action, was released at the end of the season, signing for Ilkeston Town.
