PILCS Ladies 
In 2013, Torfaen women's football team, PILCS Ladies go up to Wales' top flight. PILCS Ladies Football Club will join the elite of Welsh football next after winning promotion into The Women's Welsh Premier League thanks to a second league title and promotion following an unbeaten season in The South Wales Women's League. Abergavenny Women FC were formed in 2016. Previously they were known as PILCS Ladies but decided to move to Abergavenny in 2016. Moving to Abergavenny the club hope to attract the best female players in Monmouthshire and surrounding areas
