Briton Ferry Llansawel Football Club

Briton Ferry Llansawel Football Club

Founded in 2013 when Briton Ferry Llansawel AFC made a decision to introduce ladies football at the Old Road. Under the leadership of Ross Norgrove, the ladies started out in the West Wales Women and Girls League. In their first season, they won the league winning 16 out of the 20 games scoring 120 goals in the process. The team continued to progress gaining promotion to the Welsh Premier Women's League for the 2014/15 season.

Unfortunately, the side got relegated in the first season in the WPWL back to Welsh Women's league. This relegation was short-lived as the next season the side won the WWL and returned to the WPWL where they still played in 2023/24.
