Exeter City Football Club Museum Trust is committed to promoting equality and diversity in all its activities.

Our aims are to create a workplace that is diverse, promotes positivity, and instils a can-do attitude in everyone, no matter their background or characteristics.

We recognise that individuals and communities with whom we work may experience unlawful discrimination on the grounds of their Protected Characteristics

It is our stated objective to promote diversity, inclusion, fairness and mutual respect. When selecting individuals for activities, employment, promotion, training, or anything of this nature, it will be based on the individual’s own merits. Their aptitude and ability will determine their suitability for the role; it will not be affected by any of
the protected characteristics.

We will undertake these responsibilities seriously, and with integrity, and are fully committed to ensuring that the Exeter City Football Club Museum Trust provides a welcoming, tolerant, and comfortable environment for all.

We recognise the power of football, and the history of sport, in uniting diverse communities, and will work alongside our organisational partners, including ‘One Game, One Community’, to achieve the highest
possible accreditation for out commitments to equality and diversity.
Disciplinary action will be taken, in line with UK employment law, against any individual who is deemed to be in breech of this policy.
Created in December 2018, this policy is active and is the responsibility of all individuals who are employed by, or are actively involved with the work of, the ECFC Museum Trust.
The policy will be reviewed by the Trustees of the ECFC Museum Trust.
