Half a century after defying the odds to reach the FA Cup quarterfinals, City did it again before finally losing to the eventual winners of the competition, Tottenham Hotspur. Despite this defeat, the cup run had many magical moments, including Tony Kellow’s hat-trick against Leicester City, and the team’s 4-0 demolition of Newcastle United here at St James Park.
