Exeter secured the services of goalkeeper, Isherwood from Bolton Wanderers for the start of the 1920/21 season.
He made his debut in a reserve team game on the 28th August 1920 against Mid Rhondda in Tonypandy where he saved a penalty in a 2-0 win.
