Biographical Text
George Duke was a Luton Town player, when he appeared as a war time guest for Exeter City. He made his debut against Bristol Rovers in September 1945.
George started at non league Southwick, he was signed by Luton in 1939, his career as a goalkeeper was curtailed by the Second World War. He stayed at Luton until 1949, making 16 apperances.
In May 1949 he signed for Bournemouth and Boscombe for whom he made a further 10 apperances.
George died on the 18th March 1988, in Worthing.
