Charles Parsons

Charles, was from Chagford, and was described as a "dashing centre-forward, who tries always to do better than in his last match. Barring accidents, he will quickly make good"

Charles was leading scoring for the reserves in the Southern League in 1922/23 with 14 goals out of the team's 43 scored that season, this included a goal on his debut on the 26th of August against Bath City He also scored both goals in the first public practice, on the 12th of August, "twice shaking the rigging with flashing shots". 

The Local Press reported his signing in May 1922 
Charle Parsons of Chagford, who, assisted Exeter City Reserves at centre-forward occasionally last season, has signed professional forms for the club. Aged 22, height 5ft. Sin., weight 10st. 71b., he is quick and clever, and very promising.

Charlie may have played for the reserves in 1912
