1965
Pat Cavanan

Pat Cavanan was signed from Home Farm in December 1965, hopefully in time to make his  debut against Slovan Bratislava at St. James Park. They were hoping to sign 20-year-old Pat Cavanan, a youth international, and 19-year-old Tommy Sweetman, an amateur international. "Cavanan is a half-back and his a colleague a centre-forward. They both come from Home Farm, Dublin, where Manchester United go for players and where Exeter signed as a youngster full-back Theo Foley, who is now an Eire international and captain of First Division Northampton Town. The players arrived in Exeter late yesterday afternoon and manager Mr. Ellis Stuttard is offering them both full professional terms"

He made his debut for Exeter in acWestern Counties floodlit League match at Yeovil on the 15th December.

He did not play for the first team. And was released after a month at the club.

Weymouth signed the full back for the start of the 1966/67 season. He had also played for Heavitree United.
