Born Exeter 1999.

Sam was a trainee between 2016 and 2018. He played against Wigan Athletic in the FA Youth Cup in December 2016 and came on in City's pre-season friendly at Dorchester in July 2017.

Later in 2017/18 Sam was on loan at Barnstaple Town and, after his release in May 2018, joined Bideford for the 2018/19 season.

After not playing for two-and-a-half years Sam signed for Southern League Exmouth Town in January 2023.
