Jamie Bishop, a defender was on trial at Exeter in the Summer of 2008, he made his debut away against Truro on the 15th July 2008, and was  a substitute for Exeter City against Portsmouth on the 16th July 2008. He was also in the starting line up on the following day at St Blazey.

Forfar Athletic defender Jamie Bishop returned to his former club, Arbroath, in December 2011. He had played over 100 games for Arbroath from 2004 to 2010. He also played for Stirling and Peterhead.
