Biographical Text

Goalkeeper Dino Visser signed as emergency cover in 2019 and, in one of his two games for Exeter City, saved three penalties in a shoot-out.

Dino played in his native South Africa for Platinum Stars, Bloemfontein Celtic, Black Leopards, Polokwane City, Santos and Cape Umoya United. Moving to England in search of a professional deal he signed a short contract with Exeter City in October 2019 as cover for the injured Lewis Ward.

In addition to acting as an unused substitute in eight league matches, Dino played in two EFL Trophy matches against West Ham under-21s on 13 November 2019 and Oxford United on 4 December 2019. With the Oxford game scoreless at full-time Dino saved three penalties as City won the shoot-out 3-0       

Having also played in the Premier League under-23 cup for City, Dino was released by Exeter in January 2020 and had short spells with Crewe Alexandra and Port Vale. He played in six cup games for Vale before joining Hereford in September 2022 and Leek Town in November 2023.
