Visser, Dino

Biographical Text

Dino Visser signed for Exeter City in November 2019, as cover for Lewis Ward, who had broken his hand.

The Polokwane-born keeper South African side Cape Umoya United at the end of October, when there season ended. Having played in the South African top-flight for clubs such as Polokwane City, Platinum Stars, and Bloemfontein Celtic, Dino thought that he would try his luck in Europe.

Dino Visser joined the Grecians on a short-term deal and he was part of the matchday squad against Forest Green Rovers last week, a game which they won 1-0 at home.

He played for City in the Premier league cup, in November. In the same competetion against Oxford, which ended 0-0 and went straight to penalties. Dino made three great saves and Exeter went through 3-0.

He was released by Exeter in January 2020, and in March was signed by Crewe Alexandra.
