Bryn was a reserve team player in 1963, playing in the FA Youth Cup.

Bryn coached the A team with Chris Davey in 1980/81, coming out of retirement to playfor the A-team in September and October 1981. He scored against Topsham away on the 27th of September in the Devon and Exeter League.

He was manager of Ottery St Mary when the Grecians played them in a friendly in August 1983.
