Mathhew Harris was from the Portsmouth area 
He played for Exeter reserves and youth team in 1992/93 and 1993/94.

On October 30th 1993 he scored 5 goals in the South West Counties League in an 8-0 win against Bristol Rovers.

In 1992/93 he made 9 appearnces and scored 32 goals in the Devon and Exeter Youth League, 9 apperances in the Neville Ovenden Football Combination and 20 games in the Elliot and Saunders Devon and Exeter premier league scoring 13 goals.
