Dan completed his scholarship at Exeter City's Academy in the Summer of 2015. He played for City in the Football League Youth Alliance, but was not offered a pro-contract. 

He moved to Canada to St Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Canada on a scholarship deal in 2015 and then joined Calgary Foothills in 2017.

Dan joined the Tiverton in August 2020 after completing his football scholarship. After two seasons and 59 appearances and 16 goals in all competitions, for Tiverton, he joined Bath City in June 2022
