Harry Holcroft was a professional with Exeter City in 1946/47. He signed in September 1946.

He was a half-back, who played for the reserves. When he joined the Grecians at the age of 17, he had been playing "junior football" in Southport.

Being young " he has every chance to develop, and has already given some promising displays in the second team".
