Ken Lee was described as a "big, strong inside-forward.
He signed for Exeter City on the 23/8/1946 and played in the practice game the following day. And on the 14/9/1946 he played for Exeter in a Southern League fixture against Bath City. 


Lee was useful member of the reserve side early in the 1946/47 season. A good shot, he is a dangerous player anywhere in the opponents penalty area"

He was stationed at Ilfracombe with his army unit, and joined City from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
