Dalvinder Singh Pardesi

Dalvinder was a 17 year old trialist who played in a friendly fixture at Wellington on the 1st October 2001. The Grecians won 7-0 and Pardesi scored in the 19th and 56th minutes, he played up front with Sean Canham and Les Afful, who also scored two goals each, the seventh goal was scored by Jamie Bradford.

After leaving the academy at Southampton, he had brief spells at AFC Bournemouth and Salisbury City, at the age of 19 he joined Farnborough in the pre-season of 2003/04 and was signed after impressing. In August 2003, he was in the Farnborough squad that played at St James Park.

Dalvinder completed his LLB undergraduate degree at Southampton Solent University in 2008 and studied his Legal Practice Course with the University of the West of England in 2011. He was admitted as a solicitor in November 2014.

As well as being an experienced Immigration solicitor, Dalvinder also has a background in Criminal law and is Police Station and Magistrates Court accredited. Dalvinder specialises in deportation and immigration removal and is often instructed on an urgent basis to deal with clients who are being unlawfully removed from the UK. He has recently acted for clients who have been affected by the Windrush Scandal. Dalvinder is renowned to be passionate about his work and the clients he represents and has achieved excellent results in complex cases.

Outside of the office, Dalvinder dedicates his time voluntarily to coaching a local under 11’s football team in Hampshire, after being forced to retire as a professional footballer due to injury, having played for Southampton FC Academy and Youth and AFC Bournemouth.

Speaking recently Dalvinder, in 2020, remembers the friendly at Wellington and had fond memories of playing at St James Park for Southampton.
