Bryan Weir was a youth player with Clyst Rovers in the early 1970's when he joined Exeter.

Bryan played as a forward, usually on the left, for the reserves when Exeter City re-introduced the team for the 1972/73 season.

He scored in a match at Frome in November 1972, when the reserves came back from 3-1 to draw 3-3, Brian scored City's second goal in the 81st minute.
