Steve Jenkins, was 20 when he came to City as a trialist. A former Oxford striker he came to Exeter during the winter freeze of 86 and so went back to his job at a fruit and veg business.

Witney Town signed him from Cheltenham for £3000, a record fee! 

In August 1990 he joined Wealdstone Town for a small fee from Witney Town. 

In 2001 he played for Banbury United having previously been at Witney Town. In 2004 he played for Swindon Supermarine and also had a loan spell at Cirencester Town.
