Michael Lilley, from Exeter, was an Exeter City scholar/trainee between 2020 and 2022. He made a single appearance in the EFL Trophy and, upon his release from City, joined Dorchester Town.

Michael was in the Centre of Excellence from seven years of age. His one first-team appearance was as a substitute against Chelsea U21s in the EFL Trophy on 24 August 2021.

Having spent time on loan at Barnstaple Town, Michael left City in May 2022 and signed for Dorchester before joining Willand Rovers on loan in December 2022 and appearing for Crediton United in 2023/24.
