Barry Popplestone. was an amateur from Plymouth, Ellis Stuttard on the 10th May 1965, signed three amateurs, including Barry who was from the Ford Youth Club and played as a centre half. 

He played for the youth team in the FA Youth Cup in November 1965, before being promoted to the Western League side.
