Tim Sandercombe

Born Enfield 17 June 1989.

Tim was a 6ft 5in goalkeeper who played for Exeter City reserves in 2010. 

Tim started in the youth system at Queens Park Rangers. He joined Plymouth Argyle in 2006, but did not play for the 1st team and went on loan for Tiverton Town in 2006/07.

Tim joined Notts County in July 2007 and, after making a solitary Football League Trophy appearance, moved to Stafford Rangers  in August 2008 and Mansfield Town in May 2009. At Mansfield, then in the Conferenve, Tim played once for the first-team.

Tim signed for Weymouth in February 2010 at which time he also signed forms with Exeter City to appear in reserve matches. He duly played for City's reserves against Forest Green Rovers in April 2010. 

After Weymouth, Tim was at Worcester City (2010/11), Truro City (between 2011 and 2013) and then Bideford, Dorchester Town and Weston-super-Mare.


Tim gained a business and history degree from the Open University before working as a teaching assistant in a school in Torquay and as a PCSO with the Devon and Cornwall force. He then gained a teaching qualification and, as of 2023, was working in a primary school in Paignton.
