Ricky Shakes

Born 25 January 1985 Brixton.

Ricky, a forward, was one of eight trialists who played for Exeter City in a friendly at Hayes and Yeading on 1 August 2007. He wasn't offered a contract by City and signed for Brentford. 

Ricky was at Bolton Wanderers in 2004/05 from where he was loaned to at Bristol Rovers and Bury. He signed for Swindon in 2005 and played 69 times before being released in 2007.

After his brief appearance at Exeter, Ricky appeared 39 times for Brentford before playing for Ebbsfleet United (2008 to 2012) and Kiddermister Hsrriers (2012/13).

Ricky signed for Boreham Wood in 2013 and was there until January 2021 playing well over two hundred times. When his spell at the club finally came to an end, Ricky spent a few months at St Albans City before retiring. 

Ricky won fourteen caps for Guyana having previously represented Trinidad and Tobago in a friendly. In total Ricky played over 500 games for his various clubs.
