Frank played for the Exeter "A" team in the Devon and Exeter League in 1960/61. 

He played in goal against Barnstaple for Exeter City Reserves in the Western League on the 9th of November 1963.

He then played for Friernhay, Starcross and ended up with Heavitree where Mike Radford was manager for a number of seasons.
