Paul Davies was a 17 year old Welsh full back who had been with Swansea, when he played for Exeter City reserves in a 3-1 home win over Plymouth Argyle, in 1985/86, the scorers were Ian Wadsworth, Sean Priddle and an own goal.

He scored his first goal for Exeter City in the Devon and Exeter Premier league in a 7-1 win against Topsham Town on the 30th of August 1986. 

He played against Poole in FAYC in 1986/87 for Exeter City Youth.
