Sido Jombati

Born 20 August 1987 Lisbon.

Sido started his football career with AFD Torre. In 1997 he joined Sporting Clube de Portugal but was released at the age of fifteen in 2002.

Next Sido played youth football with Casa Pia, then in the Portuguese second tier, and - with the encouragement of his family -came to Exeter City for a trial in the summer of 2005.

Sido's stay at Exeter was brief and he soon joined Weymouth helping them gain promotion.

In 2008 he moved to play for Basingstoke, where he made over 50 appearances, before signing for Bath City at the start of 2009/10. 

Sido played nearly 100 games for Bath, again helping his team  gain promotion, before moving into the Football League with  Cheltenham Town in 2011. Over a hundred games followed with the Gloucestershire club before a move to Wycombe in 2014.

Sido spent six seasons at Wycombe making over 150 appearances culminating in promotion to the Championship. He was released in August 2020 and joined Oldham Atletic on a one-year contract.

In 2021 Sido joined Ebbsfleet United and
continued to play National League South football for the Kent club in 2022/23
