OWN GOAL BOOST FOR THE SWEDES

The swedish womens socer team, Ronninge sports club were soon a goal up against Exeter City Ladies at Wyvern Barracks, Exeter, this afternoon through an a goal by Jackie Tancock in the first minute A center across the swedes goal by Lyn Brailley and a mix up by Ness Byrne and the goal keeper almost resulted in the equaliser. After 20 minutes Lena Abrahamsson made it 2 0 from close range. Bridget Thomas of Exeter was unlucky with a great shot from 18 yards which hit the bar and went over, A goal by Ronninge was disallowed for offside on the half hour.
