Ron Crabb, a former FA referee and City fan, details his experiences as a referee, both at St James' Park and stadia around the country to Martin Weiler, as part of the Heritage Lottery Fund Project.

Ron recounts many unique stories from his refereeing career, such as the refereeing of the first international at St James Park, the Women's International match between England and the Republic of Ireland, and his refereeing experiences abroad.

Crabb also tells of his invitations to Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament and the White House.
