Season Summary
1911-12
THE "TITANIC" DISASTER.
The St. James's Park Band offered to forego their usual collection on April 20th in order that all monies collected should go to the Titanic Fund, and the result, £10. 12s. 9d. was very gratifying, being greatly in excess of any previous collection taken on the ground, and being, of course, nearly all in coppers. One of the Titanic victims was Harry Dyer, who was well known as a full-back with the old Exeter City Amateur Club.
