These teams met this afternoon, January 21st, at the Camp Field in a friendly encounter. Both teams were well represented, and there was a very large

attendance. The City started off with a rush, and Reid scored for them in three minutes. Gear equalised midway through the first half. Result: 111th Battery 1 Exeter City 1.

EAST DEVON CHALLENGE CUP FIRST ROUND:
Saturday, January 28th. City v Belmont.

Exeter City, as expected, beat their visitors from Belmont in the first round of the East Devon Cup, as easily as the score of 4 - 0 suggests. Eveleigh and Russell scored for the City in the first half, and Reid and Eveleigh in the second.
