CHALLENGE CUP SEMI FINAL.

On the Dawlish ground this afternoon Exeter City were defeated by Newton Town by two goals to one in the semi-final match for the East Devon Cup.

In view of the capital form shown by Exeter City throughout the season they were confidently expected to win, and the defeat at the hands of the Newtonians came as a shock. Tully and Stride scored for Newton and Reid for Exeter.
