East Devon Challenge Cup 

Saturday, February 24th.

In the East Devon Challenge Cup competition (second round) the City met Bovey Tracey St John's at St James's Park and won by ten goals to nil. There was a large attendance.

City: E. Wells; W. Wells, Fenwick; Morgan, Davidson, Brooks; Sellick, Thomas, Reid, Andrews, Russell.

Bovey: H. Davie; L. Coish, E. Underdown; Davey, Buck, Waldron; A. Gilpin, J.Onion, H. Mountford, S.Heath. (10 players).

Referee:- Mr J.Dennis, of Tiverton.

Exeter played brilliantly against weak opponents, whose play was only of a junior variety. Reid (2) and Thomas (1) scored in the opening half, and Thomas (3), Reid, Andrews, Morgan and Russell afterwards, when the match was quite farcical.
