Match 29
7th April 1906
Plymouth and District League
Tavistock (h)

EXETER CITY v TAVISTOCK.

Plymouth and District League match.

St James's Park, Exeter, April 7th.

In the first half the City did a good deal of attacking, but lacked judgment in front of goal. Tavistock managed to score once before the interval, and in the second half they put the ball through again, but the score was nullified on the account of offside. The City however, showed their superiority by scoring  four goals in this half, and but for the splendid defence of the visiting goalkeeper a much larger score would have been made.
