The Hon. Secretary (Mr. S. H. Thomas), in presenting his annual report, said their Ist XI. had played 35 matches, of which they won 14, lost 15, while four were drawn. The number of goals scored was 77, against 66 by their opponents. In the Plymouth and District League 12 matches were played, of which three were won, eight were lost, and one match was left drawn. They were fifth in their position in the League table, there being two Clubs below them. The Rev. E. Reid, continued the Hon. Secretary, had, he noticed, again distinguished himself in goal-getting. He could not speak too highly of the very great assistance Mr. Reid had given them. The 2nd XI, had not been so successful as heretofore. Of the 20 matches played six were won, 10 were lost, and four drawn, 36 goals being scored, against 50. With regard to the unpleasant incident in connexion with the Holsworthy match at Exeter, the Hon. Secretary emphasised the necessity for some steps being taken to maintain proper order among spectators at matches in the future.
The annual statement of accounts, presented by the Hon. Treasurer (Mr. C.Fey), showed a balance in the Treasurer's hands of £85 18s 11d. The report and balance sheet were adopted.
Mr. Fey proposed that, in view of the great interest taken in the Club by the Rev. Philip Williams (rector of St. James), he should be elected president for the ensuing year. This proposition was warmly received, and, Mr. Bastin seconding, was unanimously carried. The Hon. Secretary, Assistant Hon. Secretary, and Hon. Treasurer were unanimously re-elected. The following were also appointed 1st XI. Captain, Mr. S. Andrew: Sub-Captain, Mr. R. Fenwick. 2nd XI. Captain, Mr. E. Hamilton-Henry, Sub-Captain. Mr. H. Arden. Mr. J.
