EXETER CITY v ST MICHAEL'S.

Saturday, December 8th.
Exeter City entertained St Michael's at St James's Park this afternoon in connection with the Plymouth and District League.
The game was started promptly at 3 o'clock before a meagre attendance, considering that the Rugby Club had only a reserve match to form a counter-attraction. Tipping, who has been sent to Aldershot, was not available and neither was Massey, but the City were strengthened by the inclusion of Lintott, St Luke's having no fixture today.
Exeter City:- Vibart; Robins, Fenwick; Muncey, Lintott, Bastin; Sellick, Davidson, W.Wells, Reid, Henry.
St Michael's:- A.Moore; Isaac, Shearman; A. Snell, S. Moore, Isabell; Pitcher, Badcock, Lamb, Bishop, Pearson.
The first goal of the match fell to the City, Wells scoring, but the whistle had sounded for offside long before the ball was in the net. The only legitimate goal was scored for Exeter in the second half by Reid, who headed into the net from Sellick's centre. The best player on the field was Lintott, of the College.
