ST MICHAEL'S v EXETER CITY.


Saturday, January 26th, at Plymouth.

The City had the services of Eveleigh, who was one of their best forwards till a of years ago, when he removed to Portsmouth, and Aspey, of H.M.S."Victorious," which has on four occasions won the Atlantic Fleet Cup. The ground was very hard, and the new ball bounced about in very perplexing fashion. The City started with ten men, Aspey being late in arriving, and to begin with had none the best of matters, afterwards improving, however. Eveleigh was fouled in the penalty area but appeals by the City for a free kick were ignored by Mr Thompson.

St Michaels team:- A. Moore; A. Peters and E. Isaac; S.Isabell, S.Moore (captain), and A.Snell; F.Rouse, H.Bawen, E.Babcock, T. Lamb, and W. Lambie.

City team: - Vibart; E.Wells and Fenwick, Muncey, W. Wells, and E.Reid; Sellick, Turner, Thomas, V.Aspey, and Eveleigh.

Referee: Mr Thompson, of Tiverton.

Thomas opened the City's account with a good goal, and just prior to the interval Babcock equalised. As pey and Sellick in the second half scored for Exeter, who won by 3 goals to 1.

R.A.M.C. v City Reserves 
There was a good gate at Heavitree, where the City Reserves played the R.A.M.C., The College scored three goals (A.Morgan, Wardley 2) before the interval and three more afterwards and at the finish were victorious by 6 to 0. The goals in the second half were scored by Rawlence 2, and Wardley. Antliff was laid out in trying to stop Rawlence scoring.
