Exeter City arrived late at Torpoint for their match against the League Champions, and a start was not made until 3.40 p.m. Torpoint, who led at the interval by 4 - 0, outplayed the City and eventually won by 8 - 1. Eveleigh scored Exeter's solitary point in the last minute of the game.

Team :- Vibart; Hill and Fenwick; Kelly, W.Wells, and Muncey; Sellick, Thomas, Massey, Eveleigh, and Campbell.



City Reserves v Exmouth United 

Exmouth United beat the City Reserves by 3 goals to 1 in an

East Devon League match
at St James's Park.

Reserves: Antliff; Nicholls and E.Wells; Chase, Morgan, and Perrington; Singlehurst, Aplin, Apsey, Gardener, and Hyde. Exmouth:- Sturge; Carlile and Wilmot; B. Harris, Vince, and Cowan; Stewart, Toby, Gurney, K. Harris, and Winter.

Owing to indistinct marking through the ground being in too bad a state, the referee (Sgt-Major Adams) announced that no penalties would be given unless the foul was very close to the goal. Gurney and Winter (2) scored for Exmouth, and Apsey for the City.
