Saturday, November 30th.
Exeter City's visit to Tavistock created great interest among the supporters of the "Lambs" today. It was the first occasion the sides had met in the Plymouth League this season, and Exeter's recently improved form made them favourites to win, which they did, by one goal to nil.
The City team, which included Ben Massey, who has now secured his discharge from the Army, was:-
W.Wells; E.Wells, Dyer; Letheren, Warner, Sercombe; Sellick, Singlehurst, Eveleigh, Mudd, Massey.
