WOODLAND VILLA v EXETER CITY
Saturday, January 18th.

The Plymouth League match at Honick Knowle between these sides was somewhat marred by the thick fog which prevailed, but on the whole a good game resulted, all the players being in excellent fettle.

Exeter City: W. Wells; Dyer, Ashford; Letheren, Mudd, Banks; Sellick, Singlehurst, Eveleigh, Massey, Drew.

At half-time the score was one - all, Eveleigh having opened the account after ten minutes and Caddy equalising. Singlehurst made a hash of an easy opening, failing to score from a yard outside an open goal. Singlehurst scored the winning goal with five minutes remaining for play.

Result: Exeter City 2 Woodland Villa l.

CITY RESERVES v R.A.M.C.

Friendly match, at St James's Park.
The City started one short, and Wandby scored two goals for the Collegians. In the second half the City completed their side by the inclusion of Corporal Hodson, who quickly scored for them, after good play by Stoneman and Hyde. Hyde hit the post with a rasping shot. Osman then scored for the College and Oliver for the City, the final result being

R.A.M.C. 3 City Reserves 2.
