An important Plymouth League fixture should have been fulfilled at St James's Park this afternoon between the City and Woodland Villa.

This was postponed at short notice, as late in the week the Villa received an intimation that they would have to play an outstanding Devon Senior Cup match.

Exeter City accordingly played a friendly with the 15th Brigade, who defeated them by 3 goals to 1.
