Charles Shreeve from County Durham made two Southern League appearances for Exeter City in 1919/20 after leaving the army. 

Signed by Exeter City from Manchester United in the close season of 1919, Shreeve was to play just two matches for the club, the first of which was against Luton Town in September 1919. He then had to wait for his next opportunity when he played at Swindon Town the following month. He was released at the end of the season, and it is not known if he signed for another club afterwards.
